Being a fresh graduate, I always look forward to having a job and experience what it is like to spend my hard-earned money, meet new people, gain experiences, widen my horizon, go to different places, go out on Friday nights without the ever pressure-text: “asa na ka, uli na” line of my parents, and the possibility of meeting CCC (corporate-cosmopolitan-chick).
Fast forward to my first day at work: I was dumb-founded when I found my lunch box inside my bag, with complete set of utensils and cheese cloth. Too late. I was already in the office, almost screamed when I saw it.
Lunch break struck and so I was. I have thought of effective ways and means to dispatch my baon and join some of my officemates in the fast food. Only then I realized, it was just the beginning of something new and I only got a few pennies inside my pocket—allowance from Mama, just enough for two jeepney rides in going to and from my house.
Mom won—I have to bring out my lunch box from my bag and eat it as fast as lightning and as furious as a roaring thunder. Damn! A big sign in big bold red letters suddenly caught my attention: NO BRINGING OF BAON. Oh well, I evaporated as fast as lightning and walked out of the fast food. Sigh.
The famous pungko-pungko was my hero, my savior. Alleluia. Finally, with stomach rumbling and knees shaking, I have finally got the privilege to open my baon (yes, it is a privilege, considering that situation). I was surprise to find Century Bangus Fillet and two cups of rice inside my Tupperware. Never did it taste so good. It was the best lunch and the fullest starving stomach I had. Thanks to mama, pungko-pungko, and Enjoy It Anywhere Century Bangus fillet.
It was only then that I realized that parents are indeed always right. To be honest I ate “Century Gourmet Bangus Fillet” when I got home for dinner. Enjoy It Anywhere even in pungko2x street food.

pungko2x is named before the place where you eat cheap food while sitting. it is safe food and very famous in Cebu

The Bangus Fillet looks delicious. And it’s not as conspicuous than the baon. You can bring the canned food anywhere and eat it anytime without thinking too much about your “image”.
